Accessibility
Everyone should be able to buy a ticket and get in the door. The Door is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and when it falls short we want to hear about it.
In effect from September 27, 2026.
What we do
- Every page has a skip link, real headings and landmarks, and works with the keyboard alone.
- Every form field has a label, and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Text and controls meet AA color contrast, and nothing is signaled by color alone.
- Pages reflow on a phone and at 200 percent zoom, and zoom is never blocked.
- Your ticket is a QR code and also a plain text code a person at the door can type in, so a ticket never depends on being able to see or show an image.
- Motion is reduced for people who ask their device to reduce it.
- We check new pages against WCAG 2.1 AA before they go live.
Known limits
- Show posters are uploaded by promoters and venues. The event title, date, venue, price and lineup are always on the page as text, so nothing on a poster is the only source of information.
- Payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe, which publishes its own accessibility information.
- The door scanner uses a phone camera. Door staff can type the code instead.

At the venue
Rooms vary. If you need step free entry, a seat, or a companion ticket, contact us before the show and we will arrange it with the venue.
