Terms of use
These are the rules for using The Door and for every ticket sold through it. Using the site or buying a ticket means you agree to them. They are written to be read.
In effect from September 27, 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
The Door is operated by 5THN Music LLC, the company behind Loud and Heavy Booking and Spacecamp Studios, at 818 SW 7th Avenue, Amarillo, TX 79101. Reach a person at grant.loudandheavybooking@gmail.com.
Some shows are put on by Loud and Heavy Booking or Spacecamp Studios. Others are put on by an independent venue or promoter, named on the event page as the presenter. For those shows The Door is the ticketing agent only: the presenter is responsible for the event itself, including whether it happens, who performs, the room, its staff and its safety.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to make an account, and at least 18, or have a parent or guardian do it for you, to buy a ticket. Give your real name: it prints on the ticket so the door can match it to an ID.
You are responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
3. What a ticket is
A ticket is a revocable license to enter one event. It is a QR code tied to your account, or to your private order link if you bought without an account, and it is spent on its first scan. A screenshot or copy given to someone else will be refused once the original has been scanned, or the other way round. We do not replace a ticket that was used by someone you shared it with.
If the event allows transfers, transfer the ticket to another account from the app. The old code is voided and the new holder gets a new one. Tickets bought or received any other way may be refused. Keep an order link to yourself: anyone who has it can use the ticket.
The venue may refuse entry or remove a person for being under the posted age without the required guardian, lacking valid ID on a 21 and over night, intoxication, threats, or breaking the house rules. A ticket refused or a person removed for cause is not refunded.
4. Prices, the fee and tax
The price you pay is shown in full before you pay: face value, one service fee per ticket, and Texas sales tax where it applies. The service fee is one dollar on most tickets and steps up in fifty cent amounts on higher priced tickets only as far as needed to cover the card processor. There are no order fees, facility charges or delivery fees.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
5. Refunds, cancellations and changes
If an event is canceled you get everything back, the service fee included. If an event is moved to a new date your ticket is good for the new date and you may ask for a full refund instead.
If you ask for a refund on an event that is going ahead, and the request is approved, you get the face value back and the service fee is kept, because the card processor has already kept its share. A ticket that has been scanned is not refundable. The full policy is on the Refunds page.
Lineups, set times and door times can change. A change of support act or set time is not grounds for a refund. A change of headliner is treated as a cancellation if you ask.
6. Free shows, donations and offers
A free RSVP costs nothing. A donation made with an RSVP is a voluntary payment to the room, is not a ticket price, is not tax deductible unless the event page says the presenter is a registered charity, and is not refundable except where the event is canceled.
Free ticket offers to regular fans are first come, first served, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn before they are accepted.
7. What you agree not to do
- Use bots or scripts to buy, hold or look up tickets.
- Buy tickets in order to resell them at more than you paid.
- Copy, forge or tamper with a ticket code, or try to get past the scanner.
- Use someone else’s account or payment method without permission.
- Attack, overload or probe the site, or try to reach data that is not yours.
We may cancel orders and close accounts that do these things, and refund the face value at our discretion.
8. Going to a live show
Live music is loud and rooms are crowded. You attend at your own risk and you are responsible for your own conduct and belongings. You may appear in photos or video taken at the event by the presenter.
9. The site comes as it is
The Door is provided as is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and to the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim all implied warranties.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the total liability of 5THN Music LLC and its owners, staff and agents for any claim connected to the site, a ticket or an event is limited to the amount you paid us for the ticket or tickets the claim is about. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as travel, lodging or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law while using the site or attending an event, and someone brings a claim against 5THN Music LLC because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
12. Disputes and governing law
Write to us first at grant.loudandheavybooking@gmail.com and give us thirty days to put it right. Most things are fixed with one email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any claim that is not resolved informally must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Potter County, Texas, and you and we both accept the jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the terms in force on the day you bought a ticket apply to that ticket. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
